Yesterday Jeremy took us to the Villa Borghese Gardens which takes up a huge portion of our travel map. On our way up we made a pit stop at Fontana del Tritone (The Triton Fountain). Bernini was commissioned by his patron, Pope Urban VIII, to create the fountain for the Barberini family to be located in Piazza Barberini.

After a bit of a walk, we entered the Borghese Gardens.

We then made our way to the Galleria Borghese (The Borghese Gallery). This is a huge estate which houses the art collection of Cardinal Scipione Borghese. Unfortunately, we had to turn in our cameras upon entering the museum so I was not able to record any informative videos. I learned a ton though! Jeremy got us hand-held listening devices which told us the history behind each piece we saw displayed throughout.
